The Ecotrac team is made up of passionate adventurers, skilled instructors, and dedicated support staff who work together to bring nature to life. Whether we’re setting up ropes, guiding a climb, or preparing the campsite, we move as one — united by our love for the outdoors and the joy of sharing it with others.
Amirul Haqim — Founder, Lead Instructor & Adventure Educator
Ecotrac Adventure was founded by Amirul Haqim, an outdoor instructor, climbing instructor, and experiential learning trainer with almost a decade of experience in Malaysia’s adventure and recreation industry.
Since 2016, Amirul has dedicated his career to helping people step out of their comfort zones through safe, structured, and meaningful outdoor activities — from rock climbing and waterfall abseiling to survival programs, forest school modules, and corporate team-building.
With certifications including SEACF Sport Climbing Instructor and Petzl Competent Person for PPE Inspection, Amirul is known for prioritising safety, clarity, and hands-on guidance in every session. His approach combines technical skill, professional instruction, and his personal passion for nature.
Beyond instructing, Amirul also manages Ecotree Camp, a riverside forest reserve campsite in Hulu Langat, and leads various school camps, government programs, and corporate outdoor events nationwide.
To him, outdoor adventure is not just an activity — it’s a path to build courage, resilience, teamwork, and confidence.
