Seacf Sport Climbing Courses
Official Pathway to Becoming a Certified Sport Climber in Southeast Asia
Building a Safer Climbing Community, One Certified Climber at a Time.
The Southeast Asia Climbing Federation (SEACF) is the official regional body responsible for developing, regulating, and elevating the climbing scene across ASEAN countries.
As an organisation, SEACF works closely with national associations, gyms, outdoor operators, and certified instructors to:
Establish safety standards for sport climbing
Promote structured training pathways for new and advanced climbers
Support instructor development across Southeast Asia
Ensure standardised certification that is recognised throughout the region
Encourage the growth of the climbing community — indoors and outdoors
Build professional practices aligned with international standards
Every SEACF course is conducted only by SEACF-certified instructors, ensuring reliability, safety, and quality training for all participants

Why SEACF Certification Matters
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, SEACF certification ensures that your skills meet a recognised ASEAN standard. This benefits climbers who:
Want to climb safely at any crag or gym
Aim to join competitions, club programs, or outdoor expeditions
Wish to progress into instructor roles
Prefer structured learning instead of random trial-and-error
SEACF certification is accepted across Southeast Asia and is one of the most recognised climbing qualifications in the region.
Our SEACF Sport Climbing Courses
We offer three progressive levels, each designed to develop your skills step by step.
SEACF SPORT CLIMBING LEVEL 1
Perfect for beginners and first-timers.
You’ll learn the essential skills to climb safely on top rope, understand equipment, and perform correct belaying techniques.
This course gives you the foundation to start your climbing journey.
SEACF SPORT CLIMBING LEVEL 2
Level 2 is for climbers who already have basic top-rope skills.
Here, participants learn lead climbing, lead belaying, rope management and proper clipping techniques.
This course builds the confidence and competence required for more independent climbing.
SEACF SPORT CLIMBING LEVEL 3
Level 3 is designed for experienced lead climbers who want to climb more advanced routes, handle multipitch systems, and learn essential problem-solving skills.
This is the level where climbers refine their technique, efficiency, and safety awareness to prepare for real outdoor challenges in rock climbing.
